Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026
These terms set out what you can expect from upinaweek and what we expect from you. By placing an order you agree to them.
1. Who we are
upinaweek is a sole trader business operated by [YOUR FULL NAME], based in England, building websites for small businesses. You can contact us at info@upinaweek.com.
2. The service
We build a five-page website for your business, with a custom logo, written copy, and social profile setup. We aim to deliver your finished site within seven days of receiving everything we need from you.
The price covers a brochure website. It does not include online shops, booking systems, or other custom features unless we agree those separately in writing.
3. What we need from you
To build your site we need your business details, any images or logos you want to use, and timely answers to our questions. If we are waiting on you, the seven-day timescale pauses until we have what we need.
4. Payment
The build fee is a one-off charge of £199. Hosting is required to keep your site live and is charged at £91 per year or £9 per month. Payment is taken through Stripe.
Hosting renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel hosting at any time, and it will stop at the end of the period you have paid for. If hosting ends, your site is taken offline.
5. Refunds
We build your site first and only ask for payment when you are happy to proceed. If you change your mind before your site goes live, you get a full refund of the build fee. Once your site is live, the build fee is non-refundable.
Hosting already paid is not refunded, but you can cancel to stop future charges.
6. Your content and ownership
You are responsible for the accuracy of the content you give us and for making sure you have the right to use any images, logos, or text you supply. Once you have paid the build fee, the finished website content and design are yours.
If you cancel hosting and want to move your site elsewhere, we will provide the site files on request.
7. Acceptable use
We do not build sites for illegal activity or content that is unlawful, misleading, or harmful. We may decline or stop work if a project falls outside what we are willing to build.
8. Liability
We take care to deliver a working website, but we do not guarantee that it will be free of every error or available without interruption. We are not liable for any loss of profit, business, or data arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed.
